Andi Cross

Andi Cross is an international impact strategist, field expedition lead, professional diver, writer, and member of The Explorers Club. She is committed to redefining how global industries interact with the natural world—bringing together corporate leadership, scientific research, and frontline conservation. With over 15 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups, she blends deep strategic expertise with firsthand environmental insight. 

Since 2023, Andi has led Edges of Earth, a global, multi-year Explorers Club Flag Expedition documenting solutions to some of the planet’s most urgent environmental challenges (edgesofearth.com). Working across more than 40 countries and collaborating with over 250 scientists, researchers, and community leaders, she highlights tangible progress in conservation, restoration, and climate resilience. 

Through her consulting firm and as Strategist in Residence at H/L Ventures, she supports mission-driven companies in embedding sustainability into their core strategies—bridging the gap between boardroom goals and realities on the ground. 

Andi’s connection to remote and wild places, including the Kimberley region, is both professional and deeply personal. In 2019, she relocated from New York to Western Australia to become the first professional diver sponsored by Scuba Schools International (SSI) and a SCUBAPRO Explorer. Since then, she has explored Western Australia’s vast coastline—above and below the surface—studying human-wildlife interaction and marine ecosystems in some of the world’s most pristine and challenging environments. 

Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, TIME, MSNBC, and more. She currently contributes to 15 global media outlets, and Edges of Earth has been formally appointed to the UN and UNESCO’s Ocean Decade, underscoring its scientific and cultural significance.
