Luc de Barochez is editor-in-chief of Monde du Point and a columnist. His career led him first to Agence France-Presse where he was foreign correspondent notably in Brussels, Berlin and Jerusalem. He joined Le Figaro in 2000 where he headed up the international department and was then in charge of its online edition. He was then involved in the set up and early years of L'Opinion before joining Le Point in 2015. His main interests are topics relating to rivalry between the great powers, globalisation and European construction.
