Aralia Loiterstein Lorente

Official Tour Guide in the Canary Islands and Writer.

Born in Lanzarote, raised in Las Palmas, and based in Gran Canaria since 2015, her life has always been shaped by islands, movement, and curiosity.

After completing her studies in 2010, she set off to travel. For five years, she lived a nomadic lifestyle across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

These journeys gave rise to her book Agua dulce, agua salada (2021), which recounts her sailing voyage from the Canary Islands to Brazil, along the African coast, followed by her journey up the Amazon River to Peru.

She has led conferences and workshops on travel, writing techniques, and environmental awareness.

Today, she works as the director of a literary residency, continues to develop her writing and public-speaking projects, guides visitors throughout the Canary Islands in Spanish, English, and French, and manages a 2,500-square-meter fruit farm.

She is deeply in love with the Canary Islands and grateful to be able to call this land her home.
