A passionate traveler, Cécile has worked in the tourism sector for 25 years and in the cruise industry since 2010. Coastal explorations have taken her from Europe to the Indian Ocean, from the Arctic to Antarctica, as well as from Oceanian shores to Melanesian and Polynesian islands.
Whatever the region, History is ever-present and Cécile quickly developed a passion for the stories of explorers and navigators who crisscrossed the world's oceans with diverse means & goals, sometimes meeting tragic ends.
Initially an expedition guide aboard ships bound for polar and tropical regions, Cécile now divides her time between expedition cruises aboard the Commandant Charcot amidst icebergs, periods in Marseille organizing polar cruises, and sailing as a lecturer aboard the Paul Gauguin, where she shares her deep attachment to Polynesia. In this region, the gentle lifestyle sips in everything and the ancestral traditions offer unforgettable encounters.
When time allows, she also gives talks in retirement homes and prisons to facilitate the rehabilitation of inmates.
