Marius Rubio

Born 12 July 2001 in Paris, Marius Rubio is a well-known professional dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet Company. His passion for dance propelled him onto the international stage from a very young age where his exceptional talent and charismatic presence stands out.

Trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, Marius benefited from the teaching of emeritus professors such as Bertrand Barena, Marc Du Bouaÿs, Christophe Duquenne, Eric Camillo and Wilfried Romoli. His academic career, which includes a National Higher Professional Dance diploma in 2018, illustrates his commitment to excellence as does his participation in renowned international training courses.

Since his début at the Paris Opera, Marius has been dazzling audiences with a series of remarkable performances. From Raymonda in Carmen to Swan Lake and Don Quixote, he embodies a diverse range of roles with his impressive technical mastery and artistic expression.

Notable achievements include his participation in the ‘What dance can do’ project at the Necker Hospital where he used dance as a means of healing and expression for patients, an experience that reflects his community-minded commitment and desire to share his art with others.

Alongside his artistic career, Marius continues to take his academic studies seriously. He is currently studying history of art and archaeology at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
