Nika Guliashvili

After studying at the Faculty of Law at the University, Nika Guliashvili learned at Tbilisi Conservatory.​ After wards he joined the troupe of Tbilissi Opera. As soloist he has performed a Monk (Fratte) G. Verdi's Don Carlos, Masetto (Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart), Sarastro (Die Zauberflote by W. A. Mozart), Il Re (G. Verdi’s Aida), From 2007 to 2009 he was undergoing the training at the National Centre for Lyrical Artists of Marseille: from now on his career acquires the international scales. He performed the role of Mephistopheles (C. Gounod's Faust in Tokyo), Banco (Macbeth by G. Verdi in Bergen) and Angelotti (Tosca by Puccini in Bombay) and Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor by G. Donizetti) in Metz. Since 2011 we have found him in the role of Timur (Turandot by G. Puccini) in Bergen and he made his debut at the Montpellier Opera and Opera-Comique of Paris in the role Saint Corentin in "The King of Ys" (by E. Lalo). He also was Commendatore in W.A. Mozart’s "Don Giovanni" at the Operas of Tours and Reims.
In 2015 he was Don Basilio in Rossini's Barber of Seville and Monterone in Verdi’s Rigoletto at the Theatre of San Sebastian (Spain).
In 2016, he sung​ a Solo Concert of russian music at the Limoges Opera, Bonzo in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Reims Opera, Monterone in Verdi’s "Rigoletto" in Sanxay, the Sultan in Nino Rota’s "Aladin" in Saint-Etienne.
2017 He’s Mephisto in "Faust" by Gounod at the Wroclaw Opera (Poland), and Bonzo in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Toulon Opera.

In season 2018-2019 he sang Monterone in Verdi’s "Rigoletto" in Toulon, Bailli ("Werther" by Massenet) at the Tbilissi Opera and Sarastro ("Die Zauberflöte by Mozart) in San Sebastian. He is Bonzo (Madama Butterfly) at the Nancy Opera, Il Re in "Aida" by Verdi at the Festival in Sanxay.
Since 2020 we have found him in the role of Oroe in Semiramide by Rossini in Toulon Opera and Surin in The Queen of Spades by Tchaikovski in Nice Opera, in Avignon and Toulon Opera, Bonzo in Madama Butterfly by Puccini in Strasbourg, and again Surin in Liceu Opera in Barcelona. 
He's Boris Izmailov in Shostakovich's Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk in Helsinki Opera and Carelli in Guru of Laurent Petit Gérard in Nice.
He performs Pimen (Boris Godunov by Mussorgsky) in Avignon Opera, Bonzo (Madama Butterfly by Puccini) in Antwerp Opera and The Priest in Enescu’s Oedipe in Bregenz Festival.
