Day 1 - Disembarkation and Castel Gandolfo

Disembarkation and welcome by your guide at the pier.

Private transfer to Castel Gandolfo, a charming town perched on the shores of Lake Albano.

Guided tour of the Apostolic Palace and the Pope’s private apartments, followed by a minibus tour of the splendid Pontifical Gardens.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Early afternoon transfer to your hotel, the Sina Bernini Bristol, ideally located in the heart of Rome.

Check-in and remainder of the day at leisure to rest or begin exploring the Eternal City at your own pace.

Dinner and evening at leisure.

Day 2 - Rome

After an American buffet breakfast at the hotel, depart for a guided walking tour of the city’s iconic landmarks: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer by coach to Vatican City.

Guided visit of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica, artistic and architectural jewels.

Return to the hotel late afternoon.

Dinner and evening at leisure.

Day 3 - Departure

After an American buffet breakfast at the hotel, transfer from the hotel to Rome Airport (FCO) for your return flight.

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port of Civitavecchia by our local English-speaking representative.

Then you will depart the pier by coach for Leonardo da Vinci International Airport of Rome, also called Rome Fiumicino Airport escorted by our English-speaking representative in time for check-in for the PONANT selected flight (about 1.30 at drive).

Nice

Meet our local representative at Nice Airport upon arrival of your flight.
You will then be transferred to the port to board your ship.

Your program includes:

• Other services not mentioned in the program.

The durations and order of visits are given as an indication and are subject to change.

Travel with peace of mind, PONANT arranges your transfer between the Port Lympia car park and your embarkation quay in Nice.

Welcome by our local representative at the exit of the Port Lympia car park in Nice.
PONANT provides a shuttle service between the car park esplanade (level 0) and the port entrance.
The transfer takes about 5 minutes.
Your luggage will be transferred with you on the shuttle. You may also choose to walk to the port — it’s about a 15-minute walk.

For security reasons, your luggage must remain with you until the security checkpoint located at the port entrance.

The car park offers a special rate for cruise passengers: 10 euros per day.
To benefit from this rate, before leaving the car park, please go to the park supervisor’s office (at the entrance of level -1), present your travel documents, and pay the total amount of your stay by credit card.
