Régis Ribere
Régis RIBERE is a Caribbean entrepreneur from Guadeloupe and a PhD in foreign languages and literature from the University of the Antilles. He also graduated from the Autonomous University of Mexico and has lived and worked in South America, Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa, developing a transversal vision of cultural, linguistic, and economic exchanges.
Enriched by this international experience, he has served as a pedagogical and course director, project manager, and held diplomatic responsibilities, notably in South Africa within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Today, as a business leader, he devotes a significant part of his activity to the development of tourism and knowledge transmission, teaching in higher education and supporting local elected officials in their communication and territorial development strategies.
A committed polyglot researcher, as well as an author and poet, he co-authored the poetry collection Plumes (Éditions Nestor, 2023), which was nominated for the Fetkann Maryse Condé Prize. Passionate about eloquence and public speaking, he was a former laureate of the University of the Antilles’ eloquence contest and has spent the past three years preparing new candidates at the same university. Invested in social reintegration, he designed an insertion program in partnership with the SPIP of Guadeloupe.
