ABBA remains the most popular Swedish band of all time, with 378 million albums sold worldwide. ABBA The Museum will trace the group's career from its beginnings in 1970, through the breakthrough of ‘Waterloo’ in 1974, major world tours and, finally, the break-up in 1983. Since then, ABBA has survived thanks to a number of musical projects led by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, whose musical Mamma Mia! has rekindled public interest in ABBA's music.
The new museum will not only give you an overall picture of the band, its music and the unlikely success it enjoyed in the 70s and 80s, but you'll also enter an interactive music documentary that invites you backstage, onstage and in front of the stage. Although only one member of ABBA was born in Stockholm, the city can be considered their hometown, as this is where they worked and lived for many years.
After leaving the quay, you will see the town hall where Benny first performed. The tour continues past the Royal Opera House, scene of ABBA's legendary royal wedding gala in 1976, and where Benny and Anni-Frid once lived in the Old Town. As you make your way through the city's districts and past most of the sights, you won't miss any of the city's highlights!

The concert will take place in Vårdklockan Church, built in the 1800s and now an ecumenical church. As well as the atmospheric songs, vou will be offered mulled wine and saffron buns. If you visit Gdansk during the end-of-year festivities, then a nocturnal visit to Oliwski Park is a must!
This visit will take you to Oliwa Cathedral, where you will be able to admire the winter illuminations in Oliwski Park: there is a magnificent portal and a magical luminous tunnel, and all the trees, plants and pathways are decorated.
Located on the grounds of a former Cistercian monastery, the cathedral was erected in the 13th century. The Gothic interior was damaged by a fire in 1577 and was replaced by Baroque features that we admire today for their beauty and their intensity. The façade is thus composed of two slender Gothic octagonal towers surrounding a central baroque section. The interior seems very long because of the building’s unusual proportions.
Constructed to a classic plan - three naves with a Latin cross vaulted basilica - the interior is now dominated by the extraordinary organ found above the main entrance. When it was built, it was the largest instrument in Europe.

Discover one of the most popular specialties of Poland: pierogi. This tour will allow you to taste the local food and enjoy a guided tour of Gdansk.
Meet your guide and board your coach for a short 30-minute drive to downtown Gdansk.
Together with your guide, you will arrive at a local workshop where you can make and taste pierogi. Indeed, as far as cuisine is concerned, Poland is the most famous country for its pierogi, also called dumplings. They are made by wrapping pockets of unleavened dough around a savoury or sweet filling and cooking them in boiling water. During this workshop, your local chef will explain all the subtleties of this dish. He will guide you in the preparation of your pierogi. You will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty by following the Polish recipe with local ingredients and your chef's instructions, and prepare your own Polish dumplings. Your chefs know the recipes inside out, so you will not only prepare and taste these delicious dishes, but you will also learn about the true Polish traditions. After the workshop, you will taste your preparations accompanied by a glass of a typical Polish drink, namely kompot. It is a national drink, that is non-alcoholic, which and accompanies the meals in Poland. Very different from the traditional compote, the Polish kompot is prepared with stewed fruits and water.
After this workshop and tastings, you will head to a local restaurant for another tasting: the Goldwasser. This is a strong liquor made from roots and herbs that has been produced since at least 1598 in Gdansk. The most striking feature of this drink is the presence of small gold flakes of 22 or 23 carats suspended in the drink. You will learn more about its history from your guide and taste the liquor.
Finally, your guide will take you to the heart of Gdansk for a guided tour of the Old Town. - tThe city's 1,000-year history has left a rich collection of buildings and monuments designed in a splendid mix of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Although Gdansk's Old Town is not as old as it looks, as over 80% of the buildings were rebuilt after the devastation of World War II, it has been thoroughly and lovingly restored to its former glory.
Enjoy some free time before re-joining your guide and coach to return to your ship.

The city's 1,000 years of history have left a collection of buildings and monuments designed in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. Your guided walk will bring you to the heart of the city - the Old Town. You will see buildings decorated with elaborate facades crowded by ornate gables. The floor is covered with ancient tombstones, and the northern transept holds an amazing 15th-century astronomical clock, complete with the zodiac cycle and a calendar of the saints. Enjoy some time at leisure to shop for amber jewellery, artwork and souvenirs in the Old Town of Gdansk.
Next, drive to the Polish Baltic Philharmonic and enjoy an exlusive concert of Polish classical music, which presents the most famous pieces of classical music written by Frédéric Chopin, as well as other great masters that continued his tradition: Edward Grieg, Fritz Kreisler, Wojciech Kilar (a contemporary film music composer) and Henryk Wieniawski. Enjoy a photo stop at the Latvian National Opera and the Freedom Monument.

Immerse yourself in the medieval history of the Estonian capital through its emblematic monuments.
From the pier, your coach will take you through the modern part of the city before reaching the Old Town and stopping at the tall Pikk Hermann tower for a panoramic view of the imposing castle to which it is attached. You will then walk to the Kiek in de Kok tower to enjoy a superb view of the upper town’s towers and bell towers.
You will continue your visit on foot from the Hanseatic Old Town, past the Church of the Transfiguration, the Nun’s Gate, and the many merchant houses. On the way, admire the stunning Gothic facades of the guild houses as well as the Church of the Holy Spirit, home to Tallinn’s oldest clock.
Sitting in the centre of the square, the 15th-century town hall is one of few Gothic monuments from that period to be found in Europe. You will visit the Citizens’ Hall, now used for hosting receptions and concerts, as well as the Council Hall with its 15th-century furniture.
You will then admire the other buildings lining the square, including the shopfront of the apothecary, which is probably the oldest pharmacy in Europe, having been trading since 1422. After some free time, you will return to your coach via the Viru Gate, one of three gates that remain from the old city wall.

If you like adventure, pull on a pair of snowshoes and set off to explore the bog landscapes in the snow!
Soomaa's peat bogs and rivers are covered in ice in winter. It is at this time of year that you can visit the peatland areas that are inaccessible in summer and spot animal tracks in the snow. A major site in the Soomaa region, the national park was established in 1993 to protect peat bogs, floodplain meadows, forests and endangered species habitats, as well as cultural heritage.
Snowshoes are ideal for exploring the peat bogs in snowy weather. When Soomaa is covered in ice, snowshoeing can be replaced by sledding, another traditional winter activity in Estonia.
After 30 to 40 minutes of walking, you will be able to sit around a fire and enjoy a lunch of hot soup, delicious pies, tea and cakes. You will then be able to continue your snowshoe walk for an hour and a half.

Day 2 – Rovaniemi

Arktikum in Rovaniemi is a science centre (The Arctic Centre) and a museum (The Provincial Museum of Lapland) that focuses on the Arctic regions and presents the life, natural habitats, history, customs and cultures of the peoples living north of the Arctic Circle. It is also a meeting and conference centre and a sight in itself. The Science Centre presents Arctic nature, its peculiar traits and natural resources, introducing visitors to the lives, cultures and shamanism of the Siberian people as well as the Alaskan, Greenland and Canadian Inuit.
After the visit to Arktikum, the coach will take you to the local reindeer farm, where you will be greeted by the reindeer herders. Reindeer husbandry is the oldest livelihood in Lapland and, in many aspects, is still practised according to tradition. The reindeer marks go in the family, generation after generation, and the reindeer round-ups involve the whole community.
At the farm, you will of course meet some reindeer and be able to feed them with their favourite food – lichen. The reindeer herders will talk about their lifestyle as well as the life of the reindeer throughout the year: coffee/tea will be served.
Did you notice that you have crossed the Arctic Circle? An Arctic Circle crossing ceremony will take place during this tour. And you will receive a diploma. On this tour, you will also enjoy a short ride on a sled pulled by the reindeer. There is a bit of a Shaman in every reindeer herder and our hosts are no exception.
After the reindeer farm programme, lunch will be served at the main building.

Day 5 – Helsinki – Porvoo
After breakfast, you will be drive through the Finnish countryside to the medieval town of Porvoo for a one-hour drive.
The City of Porvoo originated as a trading hub for Porvoo Parish inhabitants at the point where the sea meets the Porvoonjoki River. The town was named after the ancient fortress Borgå, the Swedish name for Porvoo, and was granted town rights by the Swedish King Magnus Eriksson in 1346. Old Porvoo is one of the treasures of Finnish architectural history, and the town looks the same today as it did during the Middle Ages.
During your visit, you will see the red riverside storehouses that formed a medieval harbour, where salt and other products were imported. Today, they have come to symbolise Porvoo, and are among Finland’s most photographed attractions. Porvoo is a beautiful winter city with a very cozy atmosphere, with old wooden houses in the Old Town. Porvoo has traditionally attracted a host of artists, who have lived and worked in the town: Finnish poet J.L Runeberg, painter Albert Edelfeldt and sculptor Ville Vallgren have all been inspired by its unique charm.
After your visit, you will drive from Porvoo to the unique Haikko Manor, situated near the city centre. Haikko was the former home of the Romanov family during the Russian Revolution; the family lived there for almost 3 years before moving to Paris.
Your visit to Haikko Manor concludes with a 3 -course lunch in a relaxing atmosphere, before re-joining your coach for the return drive to Helsinki.
In Helsinki you'll visit the unique Rock Church, hewn out of solid rock, as well as the Senate Square area where you will taste a gin & tonic made of local ingredients.

Around 18: 45, meet and greet at the lobby with your local assistance and walk until the restaurant for dinner.
Back to the hotel and night.
Day 6 – Helsinki
Meet and greet at the lobby of your hotel with your guide and transfer to the pier.
Take the ferry to the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress where you will go on a walking tour of the island and have lunch in the local restaurant.
The buildings on this fortress island date mainly from the period of Swedish rule at the end of the 18th century, although there are also 19th-century buildings from the time of Russian rule.
The fortress was built for two reasons: to improve defensive fortifications in the eastern part of the Swedish Kingdom; and to build a much-needed naval base in Helsinki. In 1750, the fortress was named Sveaborg (Castle of Svea) and, soon after, the building of a dry dock was launched. This dry dock served to build warships for the archipelago’s fleet and is today used for the restoration of old wooden sail boats. Nowadays, the island is a suburban area home to 850 people, who live in the renovated ramparts and barracks.
In 1991, Suomenlinna became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will then be transferred to the pier of Helsinki to embark on board your ship.

Then take Mariacka or St. Mary's Street, which delight its visitors with its lively atmosphere, quaint shops and lovely terraced buildings.
Continue to St. Mary's Church, the pride of Gdansk. Gothic St. Mary's is the world's largest brick church, accommodating some 25,000 worshippers. Situated in the centre of Old Town, this medieval church took 159 years to build, and its deceivingly plain exterior belies a bright, spacious interior with large windows and more than 30 beautifully decorated chapels.
The entire programme will be performed by a renowned Polish pianist Rafal Lewandowski.
After the concert, re-board your coach for the return drive to the pier and your ship.
