After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the port by our local English-speaking representative. You will be taken by coach to the airport in time for check-in for the PONANT selected flight.

In the event of schedule changes of PONANT’s selected flight, your programme will be adapted to ensure the most seamless and enriching experience. The content of your revised programme will be updated on the PONANT website, in My Ponant space and on the PONANT app. The final programme will also be sent to you along with your cruise documents.

Day 1 - Venice, Italy

Upon disembarkation at San Basilio Port, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred by private water taxi to St. Mark’s Square, the historic heart of Venice.Accompanied by your local guide, enjoy a walking tour of the city’s highlights. Begin with the majestic St. Mark’s Square, lined with iconic cafés and dominated by the Clock Tower, the Campanile, and the Procuratie. Continue with a guided visit of the splendid Doge’s Palace, a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic architecture, followed by entry into the famous St. Mark’s Basilica, a Byzantine jewel renowned for its golden mosaics.

Lunch will be served in a typical Venetian trattoria.

Afternoon and dinner at leisure.

Day 2 - Venice

After breakfast, dive into Venice’s artisanal traditions.

Your guide will take you to one of the city’s oldest mask-making workshops, where you will learn about the history of the Venice Carnival and traditional papier-mâché techniques used to craft, decorate and personalize the masks.

Your immersion continues with a gondola ride along the city’s lesser-known canals, passing under charming bridges and alongside historical façades.

Lunch, afternoon, and dinner at leisure.

Day 3 - Venice | Departure

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred from your hotel to Venice Marco Polo International Airport according to your flight schedule (transfer included for guests who booked their flights with Ponant or provided their flight details in advance to their travel advisor).

Located in the Castello district, just steps from St. Mark’s Square, this elegant boutique hotel combines Venetian charm with modern comfort. Its refined décor and central location make it the perfect base to explore Venice.

·        Transfers and luggage handling as per itinerary
